About
Cecelia Shuai
PhD Student
Before entering the neuroscience graduate program, Cecelia earned her B.S. at Johns Hopkins, where she worked with Dr. Cullen on gaze variability in vestibular schwannoma patients. At the same time, she worked with Dr. Knierim on an odor–context associative learning task, focusing on hippocampal dCA1. Cecelia joined the lab in 2024, and she’s interested in the neural mechanisms underlying flexible decision-making and learning. Outside the lab, she enjoys traveling, painting, spontaneous reading, doing nail art, and napping with her cat, Bambi.
