Cheryl (Xiao Rou) Chong

Cheryl was born in Switzerland and grew up across Malaysia, Singapore, China, and Indonesia. She majors in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University and plans to attend medical school. In the lab, she works with Zyan to study how cortico-striatal circuits regulate transitions between goal-directed and habitual behavior. Outside the lab, she enjoys baking sweet treats, ranking new restaurants on Beli, and playing Mahjong.
